The aim of our studies was developing of the alogorithm of complex hygienic evaluation of the health state in the modern social-economical conditions on the example of Dunabian districs of Odess region. There were determined the priorities in environmental health for the region and the social-labour potential of the districts was assessed as well. There was determined that the epidemiological pattern is characterised with high inicidence and prevalence of cardiovascular, gastorintestinal, urogenital diseases, cancers and pathology of locomotoric apparatus which exceeds the average regional rates in 1,5-2,2 folds. The rural population of Dunabe districts is characterised with accelerated ageing (up to 37.5% of examined adults), high prevalence of disharmonic physical development (up to 72%) and poor reproductive health. The main risk factors for the individual and population health are represented by the physiologically inadequate mineral composition of drinking waters and high level of nitrates in the vegetable products.
