It is well-proven that preceding X-ray endovascular embolization of renal vessels for patients with the locally widespread renal cancer in the IIIth stage and IVth stage of disease and extracorporal resection of single-kidney tumor promotes efficiency of operative treatment of these patients. It is set that long spastic and mechanical occlusion of ureter by the stone causes a damage of mucous and submucous layers with development of cicatrical tissue not only in the site of damage, but also in the distal department of ureter. It is set that contact uretrolytotripsy in the zone of ureteral stenosis causes complications in 50% of patients. And we don't recommend this method of treatment of stones of ureters complicated by stenosis in the zone of occlusion by a stone. It is well-proven that balloon dilatation of stenosis of ureter with the replace of stone from a stenosis area to not damaged area reduces frequency of complications from 50% to 4%.
