Purpose of the work: To determine and compare location, clinical-biological and frequency peculiarities of development of secondary, metachronic and late metastatic tumors as well as temporal changes in the risk of their occurrence. Methods of research: Methods of parametric and non-parametric statistics, multidimensional statistical analysis, technology of search for hidden knowledge, actuarial calculation. Results and their novelty: For the first time, correctness of Ukrainian term system was assessed for the area of second and further malignant tumors. The knowledge about the epidemiology of second cancers, their dependence on treatment, strategies of early diagnosis and prevention was systematized. The structure of electronic database of records of the patients with second cancers was improved. The information about 139 diseases was added to the database.
