Purpose of research: To improve the methods of prevention and treatment of long-term radiation lesions of the skin and radiation fibroses using photon-magnetic therapy. Methods of investigation: General clinical, histology, statistical, electron microscopy. Results and their novelty: For the first time, an experimental model of skin radiation fibrosis was worked out on rats with the purpose to assess the efficacy of a new physical method of photon-magnetic therapy for prevention and treatment of late local radiation lesions.  It was established that by the terms of collagen disorders and beginning of fibrotization of irradiated skin areas, degree of severity, clinical course and terms of healing of LRL, the most suitable for simulation of skin radiation fibrosis is local irradiation at a dose of 50.0 Gy. It was proven that the most suitable for simulation of radiation fibrosis local irradiation at a dose of 50.0 Gy. Photon-magnetic therapy is reasonable in patients with stage III-IV breast cancer, local breast cancer, and local relapses of breast cancer after radiation therapy. Degree of introduction: Five articles and 2 abstracts were published. Area of application: Medicine, radiobiology, radiation therapy. Product Description popup.authors Білогурова Л.В. Вікман Я.Е.
