In particular, landomycin E blocks tumor cells in G1-phase of cell cycle, and this process is mediated via reactive oxygen species. The key target of landomycin E is effector apoptotic enzyme caspase-7. This unique mechanism of action allow landomycin E to effectively kill tumor cells, even if they are deficient by key apoptotic enzymes, such as caspase-3. Thus, taking into consideration significant antineoplastic potential of landomycin E and its unique mechanism of action, this antibiotic can be used as second line defense drug during treatment of cancer patients. The achieved results were published in 1 article and 5 conference thesis Product Description popup.authors Панчук Ростислав Русланович popup.nrat_date 2020-04-02 Close
