Purpose of work: to develop the new economically reinforced wear resistant materials with improved operational characteristics due to combination of the layers of steel and wear resistant CCM. Methods of research - chemical, spectral, X-ray micro spectral, metallographic analysis, electronic microscopy, studying of thermophysical and mechanical properties, testing of tribotechnical characteristics. The new data about influence of features of structural components and technology factors on kinetics of bimetallic castings formations are obtained. Processes of wetting, spreading and adhesions concerning of production conditions of the lamellar composites steel + CCM, steel + copper alloy are investigated. It is established that in bimetallic composite material steel + CCM as the obstacles for distribution of cracks are the borders of phases granules - matrix in the plating antifrictional layer, and also the borders of layers, that promotes to increasing of durability and tribological properties of bimetallic goods. At the first time experimentally and by means of computer modeling of thermal processes in the frictional contact zone are investigated. The optimum correlation of thickness of plating and basic layer is established. The proposed bimetal has high enough mechanical properties (compression and stress strength), raised wear resistance, good extra grinding, absence of breaking, ability to form on tribocontact the strong protective films, sufficient heat conductivity, adaptability to manufacture. The materials are available and cheap. Antifrictional bimetals steel + CCM are tested and introduced in manufacture on a number of factories of the Ukraine where the workshops to manufacture of bearings of sliding are organized.
