The phase composition of nanotubes domestic and foreign production was investigated and was shown that the proposed products are high quality products, which include both the main phase multi-walled nanotubes (MWCNT). The method of pulsed high- temperature extraction followed by chromatographic separation of products was used for analysis of gas-forming components of the multi-walled nanotubes modified by functional groups (foreign production). Also was shown that the sample of domestic production is a single-phase nano-carbon material - multi-walled carbon nanotubes containing up to 25% of the catalyst SiO2. To assess the reactivity of carbon nanoforms invited to study their thermodynamic properties. The certification of UNTO calorimeter using low-temperature studies of heat capacity by adiabatic method of the graphite as an analogue of carbon nanotubes (sp2-hybridization of carbon) was held. It was shown that the experimental values of the basic thermodynamic functions of graphite entirely satisfactory answer reliable reference data, and the sensitivity and precision calorimeter system allows to obtain reliable results in studying the various forms of nanostructured carbon. On the basis of certified samples of aminated and carboxylated MWCNT and immobilized oxidoreductases (glucose oxidase, choline oxidase, formalgehyde dehydrogenase) a series of nanocomposite bioselective membranes were developed, and its composition was optimized, their electro-chemical characteristics were studied. Optimized membranes were used as a selective elements of sensor systems for determining the analytes (glucose, choline, formaldehyde). It was shown that the inclusion of MWCNT into the biosensor membrane increased the magnitude of the signal, extends the linear range of determination of analyte concentration and allowed the determination of the substrate in a wide range of working potencial.
