Purpose of research - further development of the theory of linear magnetic and electrical radiators of microwave and extremely high frequencies (EHF) of the range with arbitrary geometrical parameters, the creation of rigorous physical-mathematical models of such radiators, which are of high efficiency relatively to the calculating accuracy and speed, allowing to make numerical modeling and optimization of the electrodynamic characteristics of radiators and their systems in a wide range of the parameters change and the surface impedance, to discover new physical phenomena properties, peculiarities and the conformity of the laws of the electrical field formation by electrical and magnetic radiators and their systems, located in free space or in multilayer material medium with losses. Methods of investigation - theoretical investigations, computer analysis and modern methods of numerical modeling. The problems of excitation and radiation of electromagnetic fields by linear magnetic radiators of the arbitrary length, which radiate into dielectrical medium with losses, of multi-frequency and two-dimensional arrays of such radiators have been solved. The influence of electrical-physical parameters of a dielectrical cover on the characteristics of the slots radiation has been investigated. The mathematical models have been created, the longitudinal slots of the arbitrary length in a round waveguide in a multi-mode regime of the operation, the transverse slots in the coaxial line, the longitudinal slots in the -waveguide have been investigated. The analytical solution of the problem about scattering of the electromagnetic waves by the thin impedance vibrator of the variable radius and impedance in unbounded space, in the rectangular waveguide and in the system from the transverse slot and the impedance vibrator in the waveguide has been obtained. The results of optimization of the characteristics of directivity of sparse linear cophased arrays of weakly-directive radiators at the binomial distribution of the currents amplitudes, excitating the radiators, have been obtained. The problem of radiation into radially inhomogeneous medium with the use of mode representation of non-stationary electromagnetic fields in temporal space has been solved.
