The purpose of the work - creation of theoretical foundations of the construction of diagnosing automation of electric systems nodes with motors by improving ways to determine the condition of isolation and by use of new methods of processing parameters of the operating modes of electrical equipment. As a result of research there were suggested the ways to improve the methods of continuous estimation of the isolation state of the motor-cable feeders when static and dynamic asymmetry in load parameters take place. Conductivity of phases isolation were determined by solving the system of current state, whose coefficients were found using operating parameters, as well as the automatically found coefficients of static and dynamic asymmetry were taken into account. To determine the parameters of local isolation defects (distance and the resistance to the point of fault) analytical expressions were proposed. The input information for the expressions were the parameters of the current mode of load determined by regression polynomially. Laboratory and industrial tests were carried out, as well as computational experiments to assess the technical efficiency of the developed methods. A technique of detection of local defects in the power cable isolation and the motors stator windings in operating modes was developed.
