In group N cobalt accumulation in digestive gland tissue, expression of MT, reduced the level of active radicals (AR) were observed. For the group Co inherent significant increase of MTs metal-binding activity related to cobalt, copper, zinc and cadmium, as well as cytotoxicity, increased overall content of AR, cholinesterase activity, activation of apoptosis and estrogen-like effects. The specific features of group P were the unbalanced activities of the two phases of biotransformation: cytochrome P450-dependent (EROD) and glutathione-S-transferase activity and inhibition of apoptosis.
