The research aim was to derive aqueous-saline extracts from the tissues of Rana ridibunda, investigation of their composition, biochemical effects and possibilities of application in the media for cryopreservation of cells (red blood cells). The research was performed using the methods of gel-penetrating chromatography, spectrophotometrical, spectrometrical, biochemical, histological, microbiological, vital thermometry. There was studied the effect of different acclimation conditions of R. ridibunda on the composition of aqueous-saline extracts from amphibian tissues. Modeling of freezing conditions in the experiments as for the study of osmotic effect on red blood cells in the presence of the extracts of liver, brain and unfertilized frog eggs of the R. ridibunda groups in the zone of positive temperatures enabled to find-out that maximum cell sensitivity under these conditions was observed at 37?C and minimal one at 0?C. The presence of the extracts of R. ridibunda tissues under the studied conditions did not affect the level of hypertonic hemolysis of pre-incubated in the saline red blood cells during their removal into hypertonic solution. The findings testify to the fact that the extract of unfertilized frog's eggs and the collagen solutions from frog's skin did not affect the healing intensity of burns and cold wounds. It has been established that the extract of unfertilized frog's eggs creates a noticeable anti-oxidant effect in vivo in rats with experimental toxic hepatitis. These studies contribute to fundamental cryobiology and biology of amphibians and allow the extending of the notions about the effect of acclimation of R. ridibunda on the composition of aqueous-saline extracts from amphibian tissues and the mechanisms of cryoprotectants' effect on amphibian tissues under different conditions of cryopreservation. The findings may be used for composing the tuition programs, lecture courses for higher educational establishments as well as when writing the manuals.
