Research object: human blood cells, avian spermatozoa, plant cells. Research methods: common methods of evaluation of cell morphofunctional full-value, methods of light microscopy, osmometry, spectrofluorometry, spectrophotometry, refractometry, potentiometry, flame photometry, viscometry. Research results: the regularities of cryoprotective effect and toxic properties of multicomponent cryoprotective media, developed on the base of cryoprotectants of some polyols and amides, during freezing of biological objects of different origin were studied; there was determined the different level of their cryoprotective effect depending on composition, physico-chemical and antiradical properties, effect mechanism of components, comprising cryoprotective media, their chemical compatibility, significance in providing the maximum morphofunctional integrity of biological objects at the stages of low-temperature preservation. Novelty, introduction into practice efficiency: there were obtained the experimental data, determining cryoprotective efficiency of multicomponent media during freezing of cell suspensions, upon which the regulations for development of effective cryopreservatives for different biological objects were formulated. The obtained results may be used during development of cryopreservation methods of different biological objects.
