The research goal is to increase the efficiency of a thermogasdynamic control of processes with high and superhigh velocities of energy release. The research methods are mathematical modeling, processing experimental data, the information and design search. A theory is developed and new data about parameters, local and integral characteristics of controllable thermogasdynamic processes in a supersonic nozzle section of the chamber for improved or new liquid rocket engines with a controllable thrust vector are obtained. A theory and a methodic support for parametric calculations for the knocking combustion of a gaseous propellant in the chamber of the knocking rocket engine (KRE) are developed. Calculations are made and the effects of some regime and design parameters of the KRE chamber on characteristics of the flow past the nozzle in pulsing knocking combustion of propellant are determined. The results of investigations can be used at institutions studying and developing new rocket engines.
