The purpose of the research is to detect cultural changes in the contemporary transformational processes taking place in society, to analyse the situation with contemporary Ukrainian culture and to outline some philosophical and axiological world-outlook approaches to the analysis of its different forms and types. The methods of the research include analysis, synthesis, ascent from abstract to concrete, systemic, historical-comparative and hermeneutic methods, idealization, interpretation, as well as structural, synchronic and diachronic methods. The application of these methods is based on the principles of objectivity, holism, as well as methodological and world-outlook pluralism. The results of the research are reflected in the course of lectures. In pedagogical activities, the value of this work is explained by the fact that modern society needs corrective interference to ensure more intense influence of general human values on the life of society.
