It provides inject of silicon carbide into a furnace and calcium carbide into a ladle. Recommendations on steel-making process and rail production are given. It is shown, that application of calcium carbide for deoxidizing rail steel grade М73Ф instead of silicocalcium and silicon carbide for deoxidizing rail steel М76Т instead of ferrosilicomanganese or ferrosilicon provides the required mechanical properties of rails and steel purity on nonmetallic inclusions.
