The BLUP-model of the male gives the possibility to obtain estimations of the producer breeding value by the number of posterity with probability not less than 84%.. The complex BLUP model of the bird allows to estimate parents and their posterity simultaneously by own indices taking into account kindred relations. The BLUP-estimations of females as well as males have the considerable differentiation in limits of lines that gives the possibility to carry out directed selection for obtaining planned effect of selection by every feature. The effectiveness of selection on the base BLUP-estimations of the breeding value in comparison with the selection by own indices is higher by the egg productivity of hens by 69-78%, by the live weight - by 47%. The methodical recommendations on using the BLUP method in birds selection have been prepared.
