The goal is to elaborate the technology and equipment for obtaining competitive produce of waterfowl with set peculiarities. Methods - zootechnical, zoohygienic, physiological, chemical, technical-and-economical, statistical. For the first time it has been worked out the conception of the directed raising and fattening of geese and ducks for obtaining of the wide choice of produce including products enriched by biologically active substances such as antioxidants (vitamins E and A, selenium). It has been worked out and investigated the new home technology of forced feeding of birds. It has been suggested the new universal cage battery (the patent of Ukraine for the invention №84224). It has been elaborated and tested machines for the forced birds feeding of some modifications. The worked out methods of intensive technology of raising and fattening of geese give the possibility to reduce the fattening term, to decrease specific expenditures of feeds, to increase the productivity of serving staff labor, to make more humane the process of forced feeding of birds, to simplify the process of preparation of feed mix for feeding. The economic effect per 1000 heads is 11,8 and 31,6 thousand grn by the results of introduction into practice when fattening goslings and adult geese. Product Description popup.authors Івко І. І.
