The purpose of the work is production technology improvement of corundum, mullite corundum and chamotte concrete mixes. The research methods are physicochemical, petrographic, physico- mechanical and thermo-mechanical ones.The influence of type and quantity of plasticizing addition on the flowing and properties of samples from corundum brand of "СКпл-50-94", mullite corundum brand of "МКБС" and chamotte brand of "СШБ" concrete mixes has been researched. The expediency of application of plasticizing addition number 1 in the composition of corundum ("СКпл-50-94"), mullite corundum ("МКБС") and chamotte ("СШБ") concrete mixes, containing high alumina cement in the quantity 15-20 wt. %, has been established. Using of the indicated addition allows decreasing water requirement of the concrete mixes ~ 1.2-1.4 times less and increasing their flowing ~ 1.2 times more. Beside of this, availability of addition number 1 in the composition of concrete mixes provides increasing strength of samples, produced from corundum concrete ~ 1.4-1.9 times more, from mullite corundum concrete ~ 1.2-1.3 times more, from chamotte concrete ~1.5 times more, and decreasing their open porosity ~ 1.1-1.2 times less. Application of the indicated concretes, finally, shall allow improvement of service characteristics of lining, which carried out with their using.The comparative researches of the influence of plasticizing addition number 1 and addition number 4 on the properties of samples from corundum concrete mix brand of "СКпл-60-94" and chamotte concrete mix brand of "СШБ", which used for manufacture of refractory products, have been carried out. The possibility of application of plasticizing addition number 1, as well as traditionally applied plasticizing addition number 4, in the composition of the indicated concrete mixes has been established. The availability of the indicated addition in the composition of concrete mixes, which used for manufacture of refractory products, allows increasing flowing of concrete (~ 1.7 times more), ensures filling of mould in the inaccessible places and allows reducing labor expenses on the manufacture of refractory products, remaining properties of samples on the high level. The use of plasticizing addition number 1 allows broadening of raw material base for production of the concrete mixes.Parameters of manufacture of dry concrete mixes in the gravitational concrete mixer brand of "БС -8- 02" (pear-shaped type) have been worked. The properties of dry concrete mixes and samples, produced from the indicated concretes, have been researched. The principal possibility of using of the indicated mixer for manufacture of dry concrete mixes has been established. However, it is necessary to carry out of project-placing works in order to master of manufacture technology of dry concrete mixes in the gravitational concrete mixer brand of "БС -8- 02" (pear-shaped type).In accordance with the existing normative documentation in OJSC "The Ukrainian research institute of refractories named after A.S. Berezhnoy" the pilot batches of corundum of "СКпл-50-94", "СКпл-60-94", mullite corundum of "МКБС" and chamotte of "СШБ" concrete mixes and products on their basis, which are intended to customers, have been produced.The work shall be continued in the line of further improvement of production technology of concrete mixes with the content of CaO not less than 3 wt. %, including the use of new type of plasticizing additions.
