Purpose of the work - Engineering of the technological project of replacing part of natural gas, which is part of the buffer volume of the stagnant zone, by nitrogen and thus improving techno-economic indicators of the gas storage. Mission and purpose of the work is the solution of the geological and technological problems connected with downloading of nitrogen into productive zones of the UGS. Technique of the research - analysis of the geological and industrial data, operating parameters of the UGS and technical condition of the wells, existing equipment for producing nitrogen, gas-dynamic calculations of technological indicators of downloading of nitrogen and gas extraction. The work results and its novelty - design features of the geological structure, layers and activity zones were identified, gas reserves in there were calculated. The number of wells for downloading nitrogen and gas extraction was identified both due to the recovery of the eliminated ones and as a result of drilling the new ones, models of air-separation plant and compressors suitable for obtaining gas-like nitrogen and conditions of the UGS, injection and observation wells were identified. Indicators of nitrogen downloading into the injection wells were calculated, so were the parameters of gas extraction on condition of a partial replacement of natural gas, which is part of the buffer volume.Sphere of application - Dashavska UGS.
