Methods of work - hygienic, biochemical, statistical. The researches carried out allow to affirm, that the sportsmen of power kinds of sports have changes, characteristic for physical exhaustion during training. Dynamics of parameters which illustrate adaptation of the organism, confirms conformity of loadings to functional abilities. Research of interrelations between the parameters describing the functional condition, illustrates character of shifts which happen during training and which are adequate means of the estimation of adaptation-compensatory mechanisms. The researches carried out revealed importance of application of nutrition in complex preparation of sportsmen of weight and arm-sport. The certain levels of training and competitive loadings allow to offer diets for sportsmen with protein-carbohydrate orientation and restriction of use of animal fats. The biochemical research carried out proves necessity of enrichment of the diet with natural antioxidants and adaptogens which enable not only increase functional abilities, but also prevent strain and exhaustion of homeostatic mechanisms. The results of scientific-research work are introduced into the work of Kharkov regional federation of arm-sport "Centaur" and federation of weight sports.
