Established that clinical duration peculiarities of neurotrophical changes of the cornea depends on diabetic polyneuropathy degree as well as its expression has increased with rising degree of severe diabetic polyneuropathy. There was offered the new method of diabetic corneal neuropathy diagnostics, which allows to reveal latent stage of the disease and prognosticate diabetic corneal neuropathy changes into manifest stage and also the new method of proliferative and nonproliferative diabetic retinopathy diagnostics in case of opacificated optic media in patients with diabetis mellitus. As a result, the new method of corneal diabetic neuropathy treatment has been offered on the base of received scientific investigations as secondary course 2 times a year, taking the degree of severe diabetic polyneuropathy into consideration.
