Existing means of monitoring organic substances in water have been analysed. Determination of total demand of chemical oxygen in water by bi-chromatometric method has been investigated in detail and bi-chromatometric methods of feed water analysis with low content of organic substances have been developed. Method has been offered for determination of concentration of heterogeneous germs of condensation in diphasic area of steam turbines.
