The size effect was found. The changes of size chromium oxide increase specific catalytic activity. Experimental studies were shown that size of Fe nanoparticles depend on conditions of synthesis. The size and shape of nanoparticles could be varied by concentration and temperature composition of precursor. It was found that iron nanoparticles are characterized by nonuniform structure using IR spectroscopy and electron diffraction methods. The center of nanoparticle consists of metallic iron that is surrounded by oxide shell. Oxide shell composes from iron oxides and surface hydroxyl groups.
