It has been developed at a level of up-to-date nano-technologies in compliance with the world standards and surpasses the available analogues by several times. At RST use, a layer of cermet is being formed in a point of contact of the friction pair. In this layer a reaction of iron atoms replacement by magnesium atoms occurs, and crystal lattice is being expanded by 62 - 63 times. It is accompanied with reduction of effective friction coefficient to a level of 0.005 - 0.003 and increase of the cermet layer's hardness by 1.5 - 2.2 times; the layer's surface roughness reaches class 15. As a result, the power consumption falls by up to 25% and the service life of equipment extends by 2 - 2.5 times. Correspondingly, the production-economical effectiveness of all types of mechanical equipment can be considerably raised. This conclusion has been confirmed by results of RST acceptance tests performed by the Ministry of Coal Industry in Ukraine.
