The investigation of the process of epoxidation of this olefine showed that the reaction mechanism for the epoxidation by hydrogen peroxide in the presence of molybdenum-tungsten carbide (MoW)2C ; of tungsten boride W2В5 ; of tungsten carbide W2C differs from the mechanism observed for homogeneous catalytic systems based on the same compounds.
