The purpose of work is creation of new highly productive breeds and hybrids of a silkworm and consolidation of a level of economic - valuable parameters of new lines and breeds of group of the basic maintenance, reproduction and preservation of breeds of collection fund. Methods of researches are individual and mass selections, guarding selection, cloning on basis of ameiotic parthenogenesis, statistical data processing. Competitive test of silkworm hybrids is completed on the basis of new breeds Ukr.22, Ukr.23, Silk 2. Behind a complex of the basic biological and technological parameters the best hybrid combinations is Ukr.23 х Ukr.22 and Ukr.20 х Silk 2. Behind the general(common) crop of silk - сырца they exceed the zoned standard (Mer.6 x Mer.7) on the average on 14 %. New silkworm hybrids are ready to carrying out of the State test and are perspective to introduction in sericultural farms of Ukraine. Within the limits of creation of new breed of a silkworm with high ability to cloning which could be used for interpedigree and clone - pedigree hybridizations, 8 new high-efficiency lines (10 generation) are received on the basis of 3 synthetic populations of a silkworm - Т1, Т2, Д1. Two parthenogenetic lines - Т1 clone and Т2 clone. Behind biological and productive attributes are up to the standard (Ukr.28 clone) and are perspective for clone - pedigree hybridization. 122 silkworm breeds from collection fund NNC "IEKVM " which keep morphological attributes inherent in them and a corresponding level of the basic biological parameters are reproduced, multiplied and kept. In all lines and breeds of collection nursery кладок of eggs enough is prepared for reproduction of a genofund of a silkworm (4545 кладок), selection work (2080 кладок) and performance of orders of manufacture (2,5 kg hybrid eggs).
