The purpose of work - to develop system of a complex estimation of quantitative attributes of a silkworm on the basis of modern information (computer) technologies for choice of perspective breeds and hybrids in selection work and breeding . Methods of researches - statistical data processing on the basis of use of methods of the system (multivariate) analysis - componential, factorial, clusterial in the software package "Statіstіca" and a package of analyses (dispersive, correlation, regressive) programs Mіcrosoft Excel. Use of object-oriented programming language Vіsual Basіc for creation of information - analytical system of complex attributes of a silkworm. The new methodology of use of quantitative attributes in selection-breeding practice with a silkworm is offered. The optimum parity of sizes of quantity indicators for maintenance of the maximal silk productivity is determined. For maintenance of a yield of raw silk at a level of 0,8 kg, viability there should correspond 91,0 %, single cocoon weight - 2,3 g, shall ratio - 22,0 %, yield / box caterpillars - 4,8 kg, filament length - 1301 г, length of cocoon filament incessant reeling - 735 g, reeling ratio of shall - 84,9 %, raw silk output - 42,4 %, hatchability - 95,2 %. The computer program "Complex attributes" which carries out functions of information-analytical system (IAS) for an estimation of perceptivity of breeds and hybrids of a silkworm behind a complex of biological and technological parameters is developed. Sphere of use - the department of serikulture NNC "ІЕКVМ". Introduction of the new methodological approach will raise efficiency of selection-breeding work.
