Study objective - to identify the peculiarities of pituitary-gonadal and thyroid systems and their effect on sexual maturation process in children having insulinresistance and lentinresistance at the background of obesity, that were born from parents been children themselves at the time of the ChNPP accident, and to develop the algorithm of diagnostics and correction of the revealed disorders. Study methods - clinical, anthropometrical, biochemical, hormonal assays, instrumental, statistical. Study results indicated that puberty period is critical for the insulinresistance initiation in children and adolescents. Peculiarities of sexual development in puberty period were revealed as an incidence increase of hypothalamic syndrome, appearing of multiple stretch marks, ovarian-menstrual cycle abnormalities in girls, hypogonadism and gynecomastia in boys. Disorders of hypothalamic regulation of pituitary function namely the shift of physiological LH/FSH ratio can be regarded as a main reason of sexual maturation rate deviations. It is stipulated by relative estrogen excess due to an intensified conversion of androgens to estrogens in adipocytes. Obesity is not a leading cause of sexual development disorders in children born from parents that were children themselves at the time of the ChNPP accident. Application of algorithm of diagnostics and correction of the thyroid diseases and somatic/sexual development disorders into the clinical practice within yearly scheduled health check-ups will promote the problem solving of respective disorders identification and optimization of prophylactic and curative arrangements.
