There were characterized their linear and nonlinear optical properties. it was shown the high optical quality, laser damage resistance and structural perfection of the novel material KDP: TiO2. Different signs of the refractive nonlinear optical response of the KDP crystals (DnNLO <0) and KDP: TiO2 (DnNLO> 0) with incorporated TiO2 nanocrystals were observed. It was obtained 15-20% enhancement of the second harmonic generation efficiency in the system KDP:TiO2 in comparison with the KDP matrix.
