Objective -- provision of performance of tasks defined by normative legislative acts and responsibilities of Ukraine as a member of Interstate Council for Standardization, Metrology and Certification in the framework of carrying out of the Agreement on conduct of concerted policy in the sphere of standardization, metrology and certification of CIS countries as of 13.03.1992; hardware of works by training and support of fund of interstate standard documents through: coordination of works on working out interstate ND and realisation of scientific and technical examination of projects of standards, worked out by other CIS countries; application of an information technology in works in standardization sphere, and also formation of optimum fund ND on structure and its effective utilisation for the purpose removal of technical barriers in trade within the limits of the CIS countries. Theoretical and practical results - possibility to influence development or a direction of works on interstate standardization, to keep informed about a standardization level of development in the CIS countries, to promote advancement of production of the Ukrainian manufacturers on the markets of the CIS countries; development of fund of national standards of Ukraine through introduction of the interstate standards developed by other CIS countries and maintenance of all interested subjects of economic activities in social and industrial spheres by updated standard documents; state slowdown in expenditure on standardization through application of interstate standards and through a turn-over of documents in an electronic format AIS "MGS"; possibility of realisation of reference service of the central enforcement authorities, technical committees on standardization and all interested subjects of economic activities in social and industrial spheres.
