A software simulator of signals reflected by meteorological formations (SRMF) of different nature is developed for the quantitative assessment of the technical solutions proposed. Statistical characteristics of different algorithms for estimation of the mean SRMF power, the MF range rate and the root-mean-square Doppler spectrum width are analyzed and compared. On this basis, recommendations for their choice and practical realization are made. Ways of weakening the influence of radar clutters and recommendations for design of the "superresolving" spectral analyzer of SRMF are given. The work results are used when developing the C-range impulse Doppler meteorological radar that passed environmental test and is approved for serial production. Product Description popup.authors Є.А.
