For both temperatures protective effect of light in 5-20 thousand Lux range was revealed. Increasing light intensity to 30 thousand lux induced a damaging effect. More substantial effect of softening is set to heat stress, which was caused by heating at 45 C. Warming up in the dark caused a decrease in the size of chloroplasts at 13-22%, in the presence of light reduction in the size was much less - an average of 3% under illumination of 5 thousand lux, and 6% under illumination of 10 and 20 thousand lux.
