Objective: Development and optimization of intensive therapy in various critical conditions, methods of intra- and postoperative analgesia with their cognitivestorage orientation. Methods: general clinic, examinations of various aspects of pain syndrome, tissue metabolism, oxidation-reduction processes, parameters of inflammatory responses, cognitive functions. The results: improved outcomes, reduced mortality by 12.7%, decreased length of stay of patients in the hospital for 3-5 days, the number of postoperative complications in 15.3%, improved quality of life in long term, including by maintaining or recovery of cognitive functions. Novelty: a positive effect of individual drugs on different systems at critical conditions and optimal choices of anesthesia, and their influence on cognitive function.
