The case study is the hydrological regime, eutrophication and pollution of the ecosystem of the NWBS. The aim of the work is to evaluate the processes of formation of the hydrological regime, europhication and pollution of the NWBS ecosystems. The method of study is analysis and prognosis of long-term changes of the hydrological regime, eutrophication and pollution. Integrated studies in the NWBS Odessa area and the coastal Black Sea limans show a tendency of long-term changes of water temperature and salinity, the development of the hydrological-hydrochemical situation on the Black Sea shelf of production processes, microbiological pollution (saprophyte bacteria and coli bacteria, spatial and temporal distribution and quantitative composition of oil products and heavy metals in water and bottom sediments. Two integrated methods of evaluation of water quality have been developed: bioassay and bioindication. Recomendations have been received regarding the apply of the results: aquaintance with key results of profile state bodies (State management of ecology in Odessa Oblast, administrations of marine trading ports) economy and teachers of higher education where relevant ecological courses are taught, with the following development and adoption of integrated methods of assessment of water quality as bioassay and bioindication. Prognosis of proposals for development of the cases under study-changes in modern tendencies of formation of the hydrological regime, continuation of the existing tendencies of the rise in biological pollution and the appearance of its new sources.
