Object of the research - disperse mixtures of powders of carbide phases of metals WC, ТіС with a metal bond (Co, Fe …). It is established that morphometric characteristics of powders Fe-TiS, WС-Сo with different Fe and Co content linearly depend on pressure in the discharge channel and on total energy of treatment. Definitely, the use of a hydrocarbonic liquid as a working medium at an electric discharge promotes activation of composition powders as a result of corpuscles fining, considerable development of a specific surface and change of the form factor, cleansing of a surface of corpuscles against impurities and adsorption films, changing the composition of a functional cover of a surface, chemical, stoichiometric composition and a microscopic structure of a powder surface. At consolidation, this allows to create conditions for the increase of diffusiion processes velocity and formation of material structure having high physicomechanical properties irrespective of Fe and Co content. To realise plasma-spark sintering of composition powders, the choice of the prospective schematic design of a pulse currents generator is made based on superposition of two independent voltages: constant and alternating.
