The purpose of this stage of a research paper - determination of the achievable level of specific power output enhancement of high-voltage pulse capacitors on the basis of film dielectric systems due to introduction of the metallized coatings in a design of the section. Research methods - theoretical and experimental researches with statistical processing of experimental results. It is established that at the expense of metallized coatings introduction into the high-voltage pulse capacitor section, it is possible to enhance its power output by 35-45 % as compared to the capacitor which has foil coatings. Thus, electrophysical parametres of film dielectric systems change slightly: relative dielectric inductivity no more than by 0.6 %, a loss-angle tangent and electric strength no more than by 4,5 %. Definitely, the best material for the metallized coatings is aluminium due to its physical properties and ability to form dielectric oxides in a place of working dielectric breakdown.
