The purpose of the study - to study the genetic nature of the alkaloid in white lupine, especially Inheritance of low alkaloid content and the reasons for the resumption of the synthesis of alkaloids in hybrids from crosses nonalkaloid forms of different genetic origin. Improved methods for determining the alkaloid content in seeds and green plants, lupine and method of selection nonalcaloid plants. Methods of research: Researches carried out with use the hibrids analysis; creation of inbreeding-lines; a method of qualitative definition of the content of alcaloids in green plants with use sensitive papers and a half-quantitative method of definition of the contents of alcaloids in the seeds, developed in a department; the advanced technique of an estimation and allocation of hybrids on the basis of the low contents of alcaloids. The received results are analysed by methods of the genetic analysis. The basic results of research - for the period of 2006-2010 have been advanced an express - method of definition of presence of alcaloids in the green plants, giving an opportunity to analyse great volume of a hybrid material at preservation of its efficiency. The technique half-quantitative definitions of the content of alcaloids in hybrid seeds with preservation them for crop is modified and improved. It is revealed, that the low contents of alcaloids in plants white lupine is supervised by different genes. It is determined four different genes in varietes Olashka, Gamma and lines # 2247, 500. It is established, that at crossing non-alcaloidly forms with the different genes causing the low contents of alcaloids, arise alcaloidly hybrids, that is to this characteristic is shown complementary effect. Сomplementary effect of the content of alcaloids is resulting appearance in F1 alcaloidly posterities which in F2 inherits this characteristic as full or incomplete dominance. On the base of the hibrids analysis is possible to admit, that the gene of low content of alcaloids at non-alcaloidly forms is not monogenic, but represents the block of two or more recessive genes.
