The purpose of work - automation eliminates the cumbersome calculations and complex engineering and economic calculations to determine: 1) hazardous voltage magnetic influence (forced mode of contact network and the short circuit mode); 2) hazardous voltage and current at an electrical influence contact system 25 kV; 3 ) interfering magnetic influence on the telephone circle one affecting harmonic current (defining); 4) calculations of some parameters of a contact network of electrified railways: a) calculation of the ratio of protective rails (for convergence to 30 m) and b) calculation of equivalent current acting on the area closer lines, c) consideration in the calculation of available screening system for reinforcing wire contact network. The method of research - environment Delphi programming language Turbo Pascal. Results of research - the use of software "protection of communications" enables the designer to increase productivity, avoid errors in calculations and reduce the term of project documentation.
