Subject of inquiry is national projects which are carried out in the frame of the public-private partnership. Subject matter is the mechanism of funding of national projects in the frame of the public-private partnership. The goal of the research is the development of recommendations for the improvement of the mechanism of funding of national projects with private sector involving under the public-private partnership. Research methods are: systemic, statistic, logical, induction, deduction, analysis and synthesis, real option method. Theoretical and practical results are: the theoretical and methodological principles of the financial provision for infrastructure projects on the basis of public and private sector interaction using principles, mechanisms, forms and models of the public-private partnership are examined; the international experience of the financial provision for strategic infrastructure projects on the basis of the public-private partnership is summarized; the institutional environment for the public-private partnership infrastructure projects in Ukraine is analyzed; features of using instruments for public support of national projects in Ukraine are proven; the role of development institutions in the public-private partnership projects provision is determined; methodical approaches to the analysis of the effectiveness of public-private partnership investment projects are examined; the directions of institutional environment and legal base development for national projects on the basis of the public-private partnership are proven; recommendations on the improvement of approaches to public-private partnership projects funding are offered as well. The practical significance lies in a possibility of use by Ministry of finance of Ukraine presented conclusions and recommendations on forming the effective mechanism of financing strategic investment projects in order to provide a stable competitive socio-economic development of Ukraine during preparation legal acts and program papers.
