For that, the following problems were solved: the scientific basis for preparation of the oxide nanomaterials for electrochemical energy storage systems was developed; the chemical reactions for the oxidation of metals (Ti, Sn, Ta) and their compounds in the nitrate melts were studied depending on the composition of the reaction media; the structure and crystal size of the samples were investigated and the correlations of these properties on the synthesis conditions were established; electrochemical activity of the obtained materials and their usage in the electrochemical systems were established. For the first time, the samples of potassium metatantalate with ferroelectric properties was obtained in form of powder with crystal size about 80-90 nm by the reaction in molten nitrate media. This material can be used in modern optoelectronics. It was proved for the first time that, depending on the synthesis conditions, the titanium oxide TiO2 can be prepared both in form of common nanocrystals of 30-50 nm size and in form of nanowires with 10-20 nm diameter and 200-300 nm long. The electrochemically active nanomaterials with regard to the reaction of lithium intercalation wewre obtained, which were based on the oxides of tin and titanium. Such materials could be used in the new generation of safer Li-ion batteries. It was proved that that the composition and properties of the productd can be changed by means of the regulation of the "basisity" of the reaction media. In particular, it was established that the tin (IV) oxide is formed in the original (no additives) melt, the potassium metatantalate is formed in the "basic" melt (KOH additive) and formation of Ti oxides occurs in "acidic" melt (ammonium hydrofluoride additions), The results of this scientific work is planned to be used in the development of novel efficient electrode materials for Li-ion batteries. Prognosis assumption on the development of these studies consists in the creation of powerful and safe Li-ion battery for heavy electric vehicle applications.
