The object of study - the process of audio-visual diagnosis of psychological readiness to work in extreme conditions. The subject of investigation - the conditions of audiovisual diagnosis of psychological readiness of employees of special forces "Sokol" to act in extreme conditions. The purpose of research - development of diagnostic algorithms audiovisual psychological readiness of the employee special purpose units "Sokol" to operate in extreme conditions, allowing for the dynamics of the psychologically complex situations, including assault operations. Methods: scientific research - for analysis, comparison, and synthesis of theoretical data, empirical - interviews with law enforcers to investigate existing experience, observational - in order to ensure the observation of self-observation, forecasting - expert assessment. The results are: a methodological recommendations are characteristic of the extreme conditions, the behavior of people in such circumstances, the algorithm and key features of audio-visual diagnosis of psychological preparedness personnel of Special Forces "Sokol" to operate in extreme conditions. Work of such maintenance is carried out in a country first. Results of research put into practical activity of Special Forces "Sokol".
