During ordering process within the grains of basic non-ordered phase (matrix) the formation of ordered phase domains occurs. Due to dispersing of non-ordered basic phase grains formed by ordered domains occurs transition from microcrystal to nano-structured state. For the first time the coatings on the basement of superior hardness molybdenum nitride has been synthesized. For the system: quenched high-speed steel-molybdenum nitride the hardness of 72-78 GPa has been achieved.
