In this connection works on making bogies with increased deflection of spring groups under load in comparison with bogies 18-100 are carried out. In order to improve the braking performance of such freight wagons and extension of the air pressure range in the brake cylinder, that is impossible to do with serial automatic mode 265A-1, automatic modes 265A-4 and 265A-4M were made. Automatic modes 265A-4 and 265A-4M having different embodiment were analyzed. Analytical and experimental investigation were done, analytic dependences for definition of the air pressure in the brake cylinder in dependence of the carload were given. In the process of the calculation research braking performance of a freight wagon with increased deflection of the spring group under load when using automatic modes 265A-4 and 265A-4M were obtained. Recommendations concerning their usage on freight wagons with enhanced load capacity on bogies with increased deflection of spring groups under load are given.
