The research methods are mathematical and physical-chemical modeling. A calculated and experimental solution of the problem on differential high-voltage loading downwind surfaces of an solid body by auroral electrons in a supersonic flow of a cold ionospheric plasma is derived. Efficiency of a magnetohydrodynamic system using the rotation of its proper magnetic field relative to the incoming plasma flow is experimentally validated: interaction of a magnetized body with a rarified plasma is accompanied by a decrease of a convective heat flux and an increase of the drag. The lift effect of a magnetized dielectric sphere at a nonzero angle between the induction vector of a magnetic field and the vector of the plasma flow velocity is revealed. A new parameter of similarity for regimes of a solar wind flow past the Moon and magnetospheres of planets is introduced. The procedure of a prognosis for spacecraft solar arrays electric power losses in circular orbits in Earth's polar ionosphere and magnetosphere is developed. Integral dependences of silicon solar arrays power losses obtained taking into account synergetic influence of near satelite environment correspond to satellite measurement results on spacecrafts of "SPOT" series (polar orbit), on IDSCS, ATS , "Intelsat" series etc. (GEO), and also on GPS satellite group in Earth's magnetosphere. A methodology of a contact diagnosis of neutral and charged components of collisional and collisionless partially dissociated plasma using the pressure probe, hot-wire and electric probes in the pressure range from 10Е2 to 10Е-8 Pа is proposed. The research results are used to develop a scientific equipment for diagnosis of the Sich-2 SC ionospheric plasma and can be used also to develop engineering systems of life tests of structural materials and elements of spacecraft. Applications: fluid mechanics and plasma mechanics; space sience; space materials science; rocket and space technology, chemical plasma technologies. Product Description popup.authors Бандель К. А.
