Its object was stated as human communication patterns in the totality of their forms and types. The aim of the study was to analyze different categories and means of the natural language used for interpersonal, group, media and organizational communication. The research was conducted at the phonetic, lexical-semantic, grammatical and textual-discursive levels using linguistic, semiotic, lingual pragmatic and simulation methods. Theoretical results: the basic structural, linguistic, lingual semiotic, lingual pragmatic characteristics of some discourses (institutional, prophetic, artistic) have been discovered, the models of communicative strategies (manipulative strategy, hedging) have been worked out, a number of aspects of cross-cultural communication, in particular international organizational communication have been described. Practical results: the material of research is used for delivering lecture courses for the students of the Department of Applied Linguistics, in lexicographic and translation work.
