Model sites for priority surveys and collection of material are identified (the Danube Delta, Crimea, areas of the steppe zone). The University of St. Louis and Missouri Botanical Garden (USA) received live specimens; preliminary phylogeographic results are obtained. Natural occurrence of A. macrocarpa (wild ancestor of cultivated horseradish) in Ukraine is confirmed. Annotated lists of wild relatives of crops in Ukraine and of the most important invasive species promising for molecular research in terms of biocontrol are compiled.
