The aim of this research is to develop the effective methods of synthesis of the monophthalocyaninates of lanthanides containing axial ligands of different nature, to study the photophysical properties of the complex compounds and to establish the possibility of the realization of 4f-luminescence of lanthanide ions in the near infrared region. Methods of synthesis of the planar monophthalocyaninates of lanthanides, containing one molecule of the axial ligand in its structure, are developed. The presence of the latter creates steric impediments for interaction of the lanthanide ions with crown-ether groups of other complex molecules and saturatation of the coordination sphere of the central ion by solvent molecules. 4f-luminescence in the near infrared region is realized in monophthalocyaninates of Yb (III) and Er (III), which are promising as basic compounds for new emitters in the infrared spectrum for telecommunications technologies, as well as in biology and medicine.
