Conditions for the convergence of solutions of equations of motion to a given terminal state on the invariant set are obtained for a distributed parameter mechanical system with an arbitrary number of modal coordinates. The relative compactness of the trajectories for a class of nonlinear perturbations of differential equations with non-monotone operators is proved.
