Its objective is to deepen the theoretical and methodological foundations and development of scientific and practical recommendations for effective utilization of productive capacities of processing industry of agricul-ture. Methods: dialectical and abstract logic, monographic, economic-statistical method of SWOT-analysis, correlation and regression, graphical method of fuzzy logic and others. As a result of the executed study obtained the following results: 1) generalized theoretical principles of formation and use of productive capacity of enterprises for the purpose of characterization and clarification of academic economists views on its nature, structure, importance and characteristics; 2) The ways to improve the efficiency of production potential of agricultural processing enterprises based on regional economic conditions of agricultural processing enterprises; 3) developed an innovative organizational model of efficient use of productive capacity of processing enterprises of agriculture to develop long-term organizational and economic ties processors with budget, financial, scientific, and others institutions; 4) by predicting the parameters of production facilities based on the theory of fuzzy logic to determine the optimum amount of investment resources for the effective utilization of productive capacity of agricultural processing enterprises; 5) developed strategic directions of production capacity of processing enterprises of agriculture, which will become a priority for the industry as a whole. Stated in the scientific results make it possible to carry out measures to improve the efficiency of utilization of produc-tive capacities of processing plants, they may also be the basis for the solution of theoretical and methodological prob-lems of resourcing, organization and management in agro-industrial in general.
