A research objective is definition of methods and means of optimisation of modes of application of the sprayed water streams for suppression of fires and thermal shielding. Research methods is mathematical and computer modeling. Results of research are presented in the form of the graphic dependences received by means of mathematical model. On the basis of these dependences conclusions concerning methods and means of optimisation of modes of application of the sprayed water streams are drawn. The received results are new as they have no analogues among the published scientific works in the given direction of researches.
